In a brilliant tactical strike today, a UN team ambushed a group of Smugglers
led by no other than Col. Barson himself. Barson has been leading attacks
against Nav-Guild transports recently, preventing elements needed for medical
supplies from reaching Mars. Although two soldiers were killed in personal
combat against the Smuggler leader, he was at last brought down and his forces
dispersed. Barson will be interrogated with a truth serum to discern the
location and intentions of the Smugglers, then will be tried in court on
various charges, including first-degree murder, grand theft, interference
in government business, and destruction of property.
