Demon Riders Beseiged

The Demon Riders are now paying the price for their attack on the UN spaceport
a week ago. Although the Demon Riders emerged victorious from that battle,
they lost nearly seventy percent of their members in the attack. Now, the
new gang in the city, dubbed the Red Coats by some, is pressing the Demon
Riders for territory. Battles between the two forces have been often and
fierce, with the depleted Riders falling back further and further. We still
have no word on who leads the Reds, though his men call him simply "The
Lieutenant." Nor do we yet know where they suddenly arose from, how they
armed themselves with military-grade hardware, or what interest they may
have here in San Diego. We do know that they have overrun fully half of the
city, and seem to not fear frequent raids into those parts of town which
are still controlled by the Demon Riders. Jack, the leader of the Riders,
has called a meeting tonight in the Dion's Cups Tavern, for those Demon Riders
who are still alive, to formulate a plan to strike back effectively at the
Red Coats. So far, the Riders have not yet been able to do so; we'll see
what happens.
