<graphic: spaceport standing strong>
Since the attack on the San Diego spaceport five days ago, four other Terran spaceports have been attacked by the residents of the surrounding cities. These spaceports -- in Cape Kennedy, Houston, Roswell, Tuscon -- have each held strong against the marauding forces and have repelled the attacks with minor losses or none. In all four cases, the attackers suffered heavily, and either retreated or were routed within several minutes of fighting. Apparently, the success of the attack against the San Diego spaceport was the necessary push to encourage the antagonists to attack. However, since the San Diego spaceport was known to be the oldest and most vulnerable of the North American spaceports, such success was a poor indicator of the vulnerability of the other spaceports. With these most recent attacks repelled so easily, perhaps the gangs of North America will realize the futility of attacking any other spaceports. Meanwhile, a U.N. committee is still in session to decide what action, if any, should be taken over the successful attack on the San Diego spaceport.
