Cards Rendered Inoperative

Early this morning, at approximately 04:30 local time, all ID Cards in the city ceased to function. Not only the cards kept by
those 'criminals' who have been exiled here, but even false IDs forged by fixers, suddenly all turned themselves off, leaving
their owners penniless with no way of accessing their funds. On the other hand, those simple Cred Cards with no ID function
included continue to function as well as ever. It is believed that this ID Blackout is yet another attempt by the UN to
increase security here on Terra. If this is the case, then all Cards across the planet have likely met the same fate; we have as
yet had no word from other cities as to whether they are also suffering from this problem. In the face of recent events, one
must wonder: how far will the UN go before they are satisfied with their increased security measures? And how many 'lives' here
on Terra will be ruined in the process?
